Somewhere in a dank corner of earth there surely is some one who is not the least bit interested in the Iphone 3G...
And there sure are a lot of people who think that they're being ripped off by Apple for asking Rs 36,000 for a mobile phone that doesn't even have video recording.
Well guys, the Nokia's N96 is the ointment for your battered hearts.
Nokia N96 comes with a 5mp camera with Carl Zeiss optics... live TV... turn-by-turn voice navigation... 2.8’’ screen... 16GB of memory expandable up to 24GB by microSD cards.
Drooling? Well we won't stop you. But what are the cons? N96 currently doesn’t support US 3G networks... but on the bright side another model of the N96 aimed at USA will hit the shelves later this year.
And what's the price? A cool €550... and that's before VAT ... after VAT the figure should be about €649 (Rs 42,000). Happy shopping!

Ok.. I am a bit unsure about this… information from http://www.nokian96i.com/
Extracted from the website:
“OK guys, here I’ve found another mobile phone which is being made in Thailand, it’s the Nokia N97i mobile phone. The real Nokia Corporation has no connection to this phone and how, where and by whom it’s being made, but the fact is there are many people who already bought this cell phone and even many that were even happy.”

Recent patent filing shows that Nokia is indeed working on a slider phone with QWERTY keyboard and numeracial keyboard: (source)
